Characteristics
Leather is not man-made. It is a natural product, grown
with all of its natural, genuine features and nuances. Every skin has
its own living structure, its own pattern of scars and folds. That is
why every skin is unique and original. It is a warm piece of nature
that has one thing in common with all natural products: it grows more
beautiful as years go by; it gets patina.

Top Grain Leather or corrected
grain leather: When a hide is split, the top grain is the very
top layer or hair cell layer of the hide that possesses the hide's
natural grain. It can be corrected by snuffing. Outside skin sandpapered
to minimize flaws, then pigmented and embossed. Aniline tanned.
Thickness 0,9 / 1,1 mm. |

Full Grain Leather and Pull Up Leather.
Pull-ups are full aniline ones (leather's with no pigments, thus,
all of nature's marks are fully visible) that has been a grease
application. When leather is pulled the grease separate, causing
the color to become lighter. This process gives to the leather
a "rustic effect". Thickness 0,9 / 1,1 mm |

animal with the hair still on it. It can be hair-on natural cowhide
( without transformations) , hair-on printed or stamped cowhide
(Imitating another animal such us zebra, tiger, cheetah, etc.)
or hair-on tanned cowhide ( red, green, blue, yellow, etc). Thickness
1,9 / 2,5 mm |
